The size was smaller than pictured. The order said 4 business days so with 20 days left until Christmas your tiny little notice that orders may not be filled in time... was unfair because they contradicted each other and then your email response to my question of where the order was since no tracking was entered into the system was rude and unsympathetic when a simple sorry would have been acceptable. Won't be ordering again.
When it comes to the product you're reviewing here, it is clearly stated on the listing how large these bars are. Photos are never a good indicator for size reference when purchasing online. It stated this bar was 2.85oz right in the listing you purchased and they are.
I'm looking through our emails with you and the only reply you received from us was our automatic response that was sent while we were on holidays. There is no other emails from you after that email was sent and as explained in that email we would only respond if your question was not answered (which it was) as we were spending time with our loved ones over our holidays but to contact us back if you needed anymore help. I'm sorry but I'm not very sure how our automatic email can be considered rude as it stated clearly all the same information that was provided to you when you purchased and answered your questions clearly.
The announcement we had about our holiday cut offs were all over our social medias and in 3 places on the website. One of which followed you when your scrolled and would have needed to be 'x' out of in order to make it go away. We honestly made it as clear we possibly could. Our holiday cut offs for guaranteed delivery were Nov 26th which was explained directly in our shop banner, the very first large image you see when you arrive on our website. As with many small businesses we don't have the man power like large businesses to be shipping into December. In November alone our business received over 1000 orders for our 4 person team to process. We also had a clear announcement on the website about orders placed after Dec 3rd that stated they would **not** ship until we returned from our holidays - you ordered Dec 5th. Many people saw this announcement and chose not to purchase until after we returned.
As for the 4 days, what you read was the time it would take for your package to arrive once shipped, which is why it was within the area where you chose your shipping options. It is not our processing times, which has always been clearly announced at the top of our website. All information about our holiday processing times were provided to you on our website prior to you reaching the checkout. The checkout only indicated the timeframe it would take to arrive once shipped from our shop, which again is why it was where you chose your shipping options. When buying online, especially from a small business you have to remember that processing timeframes and shipping timeframes are two different things as they are managed by two different companies - the business you're buying from and the business who's picking up/shipping your package.
We are sorry you feel otherwise about your experience but we simply stuck to our shop policies and never directly spoke with you as you received an auto reply which we were on holidays. We truly hope you and your family had a good holiday season and enjoy your treats.
